MISSION STATEMENT: To provide assistance for the success of Montana women of all ages. To encourage these women to then give back to their communities by helping fellow Montana women in need, no matter their social, economic or cultural differences. To promote positive feedback and a circle of giving.

The Montana Woman Foundation is a relatively young non-profit organization that was started by a group of Montana women who realized that they could not have achieved their goals without the mentoring and support of other strong women. With this in mind, the Foundation was formed to provide a resource that could extend a hand of support, encouragement and nurturing to women striving to reach their goals, lead positive lives and be contributing members of their communities. We also recognize the contributions and the inspiration provided by some of the remarkable women in Montana. One of the ways we do this is by selecting a Woman of the Year from nominations the Foundation receives from all over the state. The Foundation sponsors several fundraising events that make it possible for us to provide scholarships to deserving women, and we also offer educational workshops on a variety of topics for the entire community. These events provide a wonderful opportunity for networking and for promoting a circle of giving.
